KNECHT Cutting Edge Technology

The requirements on our food products are highest and constant product quality.

This demand optimized, consistent, reproducible and angularly accurate grinding of cutting tools in food production.

To meet these requirements, it must be possible to measure the sharpness of a cutting tool. Our guideline is: "Optimizing by Measuring".

With this in mind, KNECHT is developing robotic grinding machines for a wide range of cutting tools in food production:

The E 50 R and E 50 RT hand knife grinding machines are currently capturing the world market. With them, the user gets high benefits: fully automatic, perfectly ground hand knives; thus up to 0.5% higher yield in deboning; reduction of joint inflammation, decrease in personnel, sick leave.

An absolute world novelty is the W 30 R – a robot grinding machine for mincer plates. Grinding, deburring, pre-cleaning and drying of the cutting tools are performed unmanned by a 6-axis robot.

You can experience these and other KNECHT innovations from May 14-19, 2022 at the IFFA in Frankfurt, Germany, Hall 8.0 Stand A 55. We look forward to seeing you.
